Streams in the City 2022

“Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water
will flow from within them.”

- Jesus in John 7:38

We invite you to find renewal at our virtual mini-retreat Streams in the City on February 19 from 10 - 11:45 am. Connect with fellow East Siders for a special time of worship and teaching designed to refresh you from the stream of life that is God’s grace and engage you to overflow with peace wherever you live, work and love.

We will hear from pastor and author of
The Deeply Formed Life, Rich Villodas.
Rich will guide us to understand how we
can live meaningfully through union with
God and the mission of God. You will be
empowered to live with the character
and manner of Jesus in your relationships,
neighborhood and workplace.

The mini-retreat will include music, prayer, Biblical teaching, and an opportunity to connect with others who are equally motivated by compassion where they live, work and love. Don't miss out on this great day of growing and being renewed in our identity as God's beloved sent ones.

All registrants will receive a copy of our new Callings Guidebook.

Our hope for this workshop remains the same even though we have transitioned to a virtual event: that all participants will be reminded of the gospel and reinvigorated to join God in renewing the city in their missional callings.

Registration: $20 per person; spouse $10. Register by Sunday, January 30 for a $5 early bird discount. Registration closes Wednesday, February 16.

As a church, we have been prayerfully paying attention to what is happening in our city and in our church. After consulting with medical professionals in our community, we felt the wisest and most caring path forward for Streams in the City was to make it a virtual event. By moving to a virtual environment, we hope to keep the vulnerable among us healthy and also to allow a broader and larger audience to attend and participate. The goal of the event will remain the same: to refresh us with the good news that is God's grace and to reinvigorate us to GoTogether as a church on mission, living not for ourselves but for the good of the city.
