Advent Worship Schedule
Season of Advent
While January 1 marks the beginning of a new year, the Church’s calendar is organized by a different story and so begins with the season of Advent, the four weeks prior to Christmas Day. Latin for “coming,” Advent is a season of waiting where we both remember Jesus’ first coming and expectantly wait for his second coming. We hope you’ll worship with us in person at Temple Israel or online through our YouTube Channel. Register for in-person worship service: main floor | balcony
With familiar carol songs and nativity story, our special Advent services make for a great opportunity to invite a friend or neighbor who may not attend church regularly or at all! Please see details below for Lessons & Carols and Christmas Eve services.
