Redeemer East Side Update

City 2

This Sunday we will be celebrating the first anniversary of the Rise Campaign. Rise, you will remember, is a 10-year vision to accelerate the gospel movement that is already on the rise in New York City so that the body of Christ in the center city triples from 5% to 15%. We think this could amount to a tipping point of gospel influence on the city. It is the biggest vision I have ever had the privilege to be a part of.

So much has happened in the past year and we want to keep you updated on how your gifts are making it all possible. If you were at church on Sunday, you heard Coss Marte’s testimony of how his life was transformed through Hope Church, one of our City to City church plants. His story is just one way your gifts are making a real difference.

So, take a moment now and go to rise.redeemer.com/updates. You’ll see so much to be encouraged by: where we are on our fundraising goal, the churches we have already helped to plant, and other updates in our newsletters. But, most importantly, you will see how you can be praying for it all.

We’ll have more to share on Sunday. But in important ways, Rise has less to do with the updates we bring to you; it has everything to do with updates that you might bring to us. Updates on how the Spirit is leading you to rise where you are.

Warmly,

Rev. Abraham Cho
East Side Congregation Lead Pastor
