As we've discussed several important topics, we wanted to make sure that our children understand how valuable they are to God's plan for the UES. On October 4, Pastor Abe will be taking the adults through our new mission and values as a church. The following Wednesday, October 7, we will have a special virtual event just for the elementary kids*!
We hope to creatively engage our kids around what it means to be missional. We'd love for everyone to come to the Zoom meeting dressed as what they want to be when they grow up; whether it's a doctor, fashion designer, actor, dog walker, or whatever they have their hearts set on. If they would rather draw or paint a picture to show us what they want to be, that is great too. Along with this fun activity, we'll be playing games, and have a guest speaker.
The virtual event will begin promptly at 4 p.m.
