I'm New

Welcome to Redeemer East Side!

Attending a new church can be exciting, but also intimidating. As much as we would like to start getting connected, there are also a lot of question marks.

Whether you are new to the city, new to the faith, or new to us, we are excited to welcome you to Redeemer East Side. When you visit, we hope you sense our joyful belief that the gospel of Jesus Christ is good news for every person in the world and that this belief singularly shapes everything we do.

We also hope you see a community of ordinary New Yorkers whose lives have been radically changed by a love that is far greater than we thought was possible—the love of God in Jesus Christ.

We’d love to know you as well. Make sure to say hi (and pick up a small gift) at the Info Hub after the service. Look for the orange table cloth, or ask someone with a name tag to direct you.

What to Expect

When you arrive at Temple Israel, members of our welcome team will greet you. Everyone who enters goes through security screening. This is common at synagogues and many other places in the city.

The sanctuary area is under construction, so we are currently meeting in the ballroom. Take the elevator to “A” or the stairs two flights down to the worship service. Members of the Welcome Team will be around to direct you.

We are excited to see you on Sunday! If you want to get a head start on connecting, fill out the digital connect card (our newcomer form) and someone from our Community Team will be in touch with you shortly.
