Youth Ministry Summer Schedule

We’d love to spend time with each other. We’ve got a handful of ways our youth can live life together during these summer months. There’s the bake sale fundraiser for their Mission Trip in August, volunteering with Kids' Camp and City Serve, and a weekend camping trip. Check out our summer schedule below, and we hope to see you there!

Bake Sale Fundraiser

June 8: Sunday
Following the morning and evening worship services

  • Come ready to pick up some treats at the bake sale on Sunday, June 8, after both services.
  • All money raised at the bake sale will go towards supporting the 16 students who are going on the mission trip to southern Virginia (August 3-9) to help a community devastated by Hurricane Helene last September.
  • Each student needs to raise $700 for the mission trip.
  • Consider ways you can be generous in supporting individual students or the team financially or in prayer.

Kids' Camp & City Serve

July 7-11: Monday - Friday
Register to Volunteer for Kids' Camp & City Serve

  • All of our youth, rising 5th-graders and above, are invited to serve our church during Kids’ Camp and the city at local non-profits during the week of our Kids’ Camp: July 7-11.
  • They’ll be serving full days for the entire week and there is limited capacity, so be sure to register soon.
  • High School and Middle School students who volunteer will be assigned to various areas to help lead the children through each area of East Side Kids' Camp.
  • They will help with preparations before Kids' Camp each day and participate alongside the children to guide them.
  • After Kids' Camp, students will serve our neighbors (what we call "City Serve") by working with Hope for New York (HFNY) affiliate ministries to care for those in need.

Camping Trip

July 12-13: Saturday - Sunday
Register for the Camping Trip

  • We think time in nature is a special way to reset our rhythms and connect with God and community.
  • We invite our youth to pack their tents and head into the woods for a weekend away to cook over a fire, go on walks, spend time at the beach, and sleep under stars as an intentional rhythm of rest.
  • Registration is open now for all rising 5th-graders and above.
  • Cost: $70. Limited capacity.
