Each week, we’ll examine a different chapter in this greater narrative. Dinner is provided.
- Part 1 - Origins: Where have we come from?
- Part 2 - Suffering: What is wrong with the world?
- Part 3 - Justice: How can the world become a better place?
- Part 4 - Hope: Is there any hope for the future?
- Part 5 - Life: How should we live?

The teen years are a season of significant change and development. They are also an age of exciting opportunity for God to work in young people’s lives. But in today’s complex world, knowing how to parent our teenagers well is often challenging.
Parenting Teenagers will feature the teaching of Mr. Peter Ong. Peter is a church elder, a former church planter, and currently the Assistant Director of Community Engagement at City to City NYC. A native New Yorker, Peter lives in Flushing with his wife Jamie and their two teenage sons.
Join us for an evening of practical insights and biblical truth that will help equip you to face the task of parenting your teenager.

- how to grow as a Christian
- how to flourish as a church member
- what it means to be a member of Redeemer East Side
We pray that our membership class will be the first step in a long and fulfilling process of spiritual growth and fruitful service in your involvement at East Side.
Spiritual Conversations
Sunday, November 9 and 16 at 9 am
Location: Room 613 at 150 E 91 St.
Register
Matthew 28 calls us to make disciples, yet many of us struggle to open our mouths about our hope in Christ. We may fear rejection, feel inadequate, or just prefer to leave evangelism to "the experts" who always seem to know what to say. In this class, we invite participants to recenter Jesus in their lives, and then learn some simple, practical ways to strengthen our skills in "spiritual conversations." Our ultimate hope is to help our church family grow in speaking good news, even in the face of fear and what can seem like a challenging cultural climate. Teacher: Jennifer Chan, Sr. Director of Missional Engagement and Training, City to City NYC.
