Sunday Service Team

Do you have the gift of hospitality? You can extend Jesus' hospitality and provide helpful information to congregants on Sundays by joining the Sunday Service Team.


Communion Team:

AM Team - Prepare communion elements for both am and pm services. Team arrives at 9am and prepares elements, including cutting bread, pouring wine, and delivering trays to stations. Post service, collects and returns trays to the 11th floor kitchen to setup for pm service.

PM team - Wash trays used in am, and deliver communion elements to stations for pm service. Post service, collect, deliver to kitchen on 11th floor, and wash trays.

Time commitment: 1x/month:
- AM team 9-10:15AM and 11:45-12:00PM
- PM team 4:15 - 5PM and 6:15 to 6:40PM

ES Communion 2
Communion Team: prepare the communion elements for the congregation

Welcome Team:

Greet those arriving for worship, provide hospitality information (i.e, answers questions about where things are in the church, including bathroom, coat rack, stroller, etc), and directs people to the sanctuary.

Time commitment: 1x/month:
AM team: 9:45-11:50AM
PM team: 4:15:-5:20PM

Welcome Team: greet and welcome everyone coming to worship
Info Hub volunteer Iain Coston
Welcome Team: assist at the Info Hub

Ushers:

Provide warm, friendly presence at entrance of Sanctuary, distribute worship guides, direct people to available seating, direct communion procession, collect the offering, and communion cups post service.

Time commitment: 1x/month:
AM team: 9:45-11:50AM
PM team: 4:15:-5:20PM

Sunday Service Team volunteers attend a training session and serve once a month. We ask you to commit to serving on the Sunday Service Team for one year.
